Join us as we celebrate Black culture across generations through creativity and storytelling. Led by Vickie Daniels and Teaching Artists, Theo Ball, this hands-on experience invites you to create a quilted book and design custom buttons inspired by rich cultural traditions. This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages—stop by anytime, get creative, and be part of a meaningful day of art, history, and community.

designated East 10th St Arts District corridor! Admission is free to this four-hour family-friendly celebration which will showcase musical
performances, hands-on art-making, exhibitions, public mural creation, sidewalk art, and more! See and hear AFLI Professional Teaching Artists
(including Cathy Morris, Village of Stories, Beatriz Vasquez, Jingo de la Rosa, Matt Deloughery, Omar Rashan and others!) share their creative
talents during the event. Food & beverage will be available for purchase from on-site vendors.
