“He who is different from me does not impoverish me – he enriches me.” – unknown
As a community, it is our privilege to be home to neighbors who come from a broad range of backgrounds; and as change agents, we have the opportunity to facilitate a collision of backgrounds and worldviews in such a way that small seeds of unity and compassion are planted, creating a neighbourhood of people who do not hesitate to reach out to each other, but who, instead, pour into one another.
This event is sponsored by Thrivent and All That Jazz and Blues, with additional contributions from Apples and Oranges, Rabble Coffee, and the Near Eastside Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce. There will be free food and door prizes from Audrey’s Place, Tim & Julie’s, Pogue’s Run Grocer and others TBA
