Neighbors and Friends!

I hope that all of you have survived the weather we’ve been having.  I took a break for a few weeks on the blog but we’re up and running again.  If you have information you’d like to share about an event, class, or other type of activity happening in your neighborhood send it to mfetter@jhbcc.org and I will get it on here.  There’s some great information coming your way in 2014 so stay tuned!

Mayor’s Action Center

The Mayor’s Action Center (MAC) provides the citizens of the Consolidated City of Indianapolis and Marion County with a single point of contact to request City services, obtain information, or provide feedback. The following are just a few of the issues that can be reported through the MAC:

  •       Potholes
  •       Missed trash collections
  •       Abandoned vehicles
  •       Traffic signal or signs
  •       Zoning violations
  •       And many more!
In an effort to provide excellent customer service, the MAC now
offers several ways for citizen’s to request  services and to check
the status of an existing service request around the clock through
applications.  As always, the MAC can still be contacted by calling
(317) 327-4MAC.

Got Potholes?

Residents are encouraged to report potholes to the Mayor’s Action Center online or by calling 327-4622. A new online tool is now available to allow the public to view, report and check the status of reported street potholes. Indy’s Pothole Viewer is available at www.indy.gov/IndyPotholeViewer and shows all pothole repair requests received by the MAC for the prior six months.
