March 1, 2016• Meeting• event submission
Free child care provided by the staff of Apples and Oranges Day Care
Dinner provided for free.
Every Connect Point is free and open to the public. Connect Points are 50% fun, 50% business, and 100% relationship-oriented. Each Connect Point is hosted at a different community location, giving us the opportunity to meet a variety of business-owners and community leaders, while learning more about how they contribute to quality of life on the Near Eastside. Half of each meeting is devoted to connecting with neighbours, making new friends, and networking. The remaining time is devoted to working on action items that further our mission.
By continuously changing locations, we are not only exposed to the great diversity of our Near Eastside, but are also able to support under-represented businesses by bringing prospective customers and clients through the door,
and/or by purchasing products or services.
At this Connect Point, we will be sharing opportunities to collaborate with the Lanterns Foundation, Inc. on the Annual Feast of Lanterns.
