3rd Annual Golden Ladle Chili Challenge

Little Flower Catholic School

Join Little Flower Neighborhood Association for the Third Annual Golden Ladle Chili Challenge!
We’re inviting neighbors from across the Eastside to bring their best chili to challenge the great cooks of Little Flower to a tasty showdown! The winner in each category – meat and vegetarian – will walk away with the coveted Golden Ladle and a prize! A random guest will be selected for a door prize as well!
Our judges will be our very own Councilor Blake Johnson, chili connoisseur and favorite neighborhood bartender Jacque Boak from the Shi-kay and writer Ebony Chappel!
It’s free to enter your chili in the contest! Money collected from the challenge will be distributed to neighborhood associations, churches and organizations based on the number of their participants, so the more, the merrier!
For the neighbors and supporters, $5 gets you all the chili you can eat! Drinks will be available for sale.
Chili check-in starts at 6:30pm in the cafeteria of the Little Flower School (door 6), with judging at 6:45pm and feasting at 7pm.
Who will win the Golden Ladle this year? In 2016, Little Flower kept the title in the neighborhood, with Otterbein winning a special mention. Will they repeat?
Bring your chili A-game, Eastside!iCal
