Community Hospital East Construction Connection – Subcontractor Event

Pepper Construction, in conjunction with Community Hospital East is hosting an informational event regarding opportunities for experienced, licensed, Eastside Indianapolis commercial subcontractors in relation to the Community East Campus Redevelopment project. A brief presentation will be held on May 24, 2016 from 4pm-5pm at the John J. Boner Center to provide attendees with important information about the construction plan and schedule for completion, including project milestones related to bid opportunities.

Pepper Construction, the construction manager for the project, will be soliciting trades for the project including mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler, electrical, painting, flooring, hard tile, insulation, low voltage, and acoustical ceiling.

Families First Parent Cafe

Parent Café’s are an opportunity for parents/caregivers to engage in peer-to-peer learning, deeper reflection about parenting and learning ways to build “Protective Factors”(Resilience, Relationships, Support, Knowledge, Communication) that can assist with keeping their families safe, healthy and strong. Parent Cafe’s can:

 *Reduce stress / increase peace and well-being
 *Increase parenting knowledge & skills
 *Build protective factors
 *Facilitate meaningful relationships and bonding / community-building
 *Provide opportunities for parent leadership
